Lia Morris - Executive Director
Lia Morris grew up in Southwest Harbor, as a daughter of a boat builder, with Acadia National Park and the surrounding waters as her playground. Her deep family immersion in the outdoors led her to an early passion of advocating for the natural environment. She has spent over 22 years involved in the nonprofit sector as an intern, volunteer and employee. With an undergraduate degree in Environmental Conservation and Biology from UC Boulder and a graduate degree in Environmental Policy from Tufts University, Lia's educational background fueled her passions. Lia comes most recently from the Environmental Studies Program at Colby College. She lives in the Waterville area with her husband and two children. Lia is thrilled to have joined a team that is working to foster a connection to the natural world for the next generation of environmental stewards.

Jennifer Hicks - Development Coordinator
Jennifer Hicks has over 20 years of experience working as an environmental educator and conservation and sustainable communities professional. She earned her Bachelor's degree at Shippensburg University of Pennsylvania in Education and her Master's degree at Antioch New England Graduate School in Environmental Studies.
Though brought up in New Jersey, Jenn comes from a long line of Mainers as far back as the late 1600's. She became interested in nature and environmental conservation at age 11 after she camped in Baxter State Park and hiked Mt. Katahdin with her grandmother and brother.
In 2016 Jenn relocated to Maine from the eastern shore of Maryland to serve as the Executive Director of Pemaquid Watershed Association in Damariscotta. While at PWA she created and managed strategic fundraising initiatives that focused on a diversified approach to generating revenue through grants, events, large and small donations, and membership.
Katrina Cornish - Outreach and Programs Coordinator
Katrina’s childhood was spent in the woods and waters of Southern Maine, exploring and learning from the natural world. A strong connection with the outdoors led her to pursue a B.Sc. in Environmental Science at the State University of New York, College of Environmental Science and Forestry. Katrina spent most of her free time in college with the university outing club, enjoying many high adventure sports (i.e. canyoneering, ice-climbing, white-water kayaking, etc). During and following school, she worked for several non-profits in Maine, Florida and California as an outdoor/environmental educator and most recently comes from Portland Public Schools. Katrina currently resides in Harpswell, ME. You can find her playing ukulele, board games, adventuring with her dog.

Marlene Flaherty - Outreach and Projects VISTA
Marlene grew up in Washington County, where there are more trees than people and endless opportunities to opt outside. She wanted to explore urban living and completed her undergraduate degree at Berkeley College in New York City. Studying Marketing and Management and working for a magazine- she found that her passion lies outside of the corporate and/or concrete sphere. She has spent the last 5 years working in the non-profit sector and serving as an AmeriCorps member/leader. National service provided her a platform to visit 42 of the 50 states and engage with communities. Working with Teens To Trails allows her to continue to serve and combine her focus areas of youth development, environmental stewardship, and community building.
