T3 Acadia Rendezvous ‘09
... a partnership between Teens To Trails and Acadia National Park.
The National Park Service provided overnight camping facilities for participants within the Park at Blackwoods Campground. The Friends of Acadia & Park staff helped us plan a day of volunteer trail work. We split into small groups to spend Sunday hiking, biking and rock climbing in the Park. We were surprised to hear that it was a first trip to Acadia for most of these Maine teens!
