Dear Friends,
Greetings from Teens To Trails.

Outing Club leaders from across the State on a fall event co-sponsored
with Acadia National Park. The recipient of a T3 Scholarship is getting
a summer wilderness experience. Read on for more

Find time to get outside & enjoy the summer ~ rain or shine!

T3-Acadia Rendezvous '09
Teens To Trails
is trying something new ~ a fall overnight gathering of Maine Outing
Clubs ~ eleven high schools have already been identified. The event is
co-sponsored by Acadia National Park & the overnight will take
place at the Park's Blackwoods Campground. Rendezvous '09 will provide
newer Clubs the opportunity to get outside alongside more experienced
leaders, building excitement for their individual programs while they
build on their own experience & confidence levels in the
out-of-doors. Outing Clubs will return to their schools energized to
plan further outings for their students throughout the school year.

T3
is engaging teens in the outdoors! We have found enthusiastic support
for our programs from people who are themselves passionate about the
outdoors and realize the important role that nature has played in their
own lives. We thank you.
We
have assisted over a dozen high schools to develop new Outing Club
programs & introduced several new intiatives this year to help
Maine teens get outdoors & connect with their natural world. Want
to know more? We welcome your ideas & your involvement. Please
contact us.
Sincerely,
CAROL LEONE
