L.L.Bean Announces $3000 Support for Grants-to-Clubs Program
At
a Conference gathering of high school Outing Club leaders, Laurie
Gilman of L.L.Bean announced their support of a T3 Grants-to-Clubs
Program to begin next school year. Teens To Trails will put these
funds directly into the hands of Outing Clubs to help new Clubs get
started and assist existing Clubs in strengthening their programs. We
hope to reach 3-5 Clubs right away with grants of about $500 each.
Guidelines for the application process are being developed now for
distribution to Maine high schools. In this first year of
grantmaking, applications for grants will be due in October with
notification to grant recipients in November. To receive an
application, contact Carol Leone. |
