Safety & Skills Training for Outing Club Leaders

Teachers often tell us that they have an interest in starting an Outing Club at their high school, but feel lacking in their outdoor skills. Teens To Trails recognizes the importance of providing opportunities for Outing Club leaders to build their safety & outdoor skills and confidence levels while linking them to the many outdoor "experts" in Maine who can provide needed support. We do our best to incorporate safety and skills development in all of our events.

Safety Trainings

Wilderness First Aid (WFA) Certification Course
Discounted course offering thanks to our partners and friends of T3 who recognize the importance of keeping teens safe while enjoying their outings. Priority going to Outing Club Advisors & Student Leaders.

Skills Workshops

Winter Skills Weekends
Since we all know that winters in Maine can bring some cold weather and last a long time, it is important to be able to get outside and enjoy it. These weekend workshops build confidence in leading outings - ranging from afternoon trips to overnights - during this time of year.

Spring Thing
