Acadia Mountain Guides Climbing School
Acadia Mountain Guides is a full service, year-round climbing school offering instruction and guiding locally and worldwide on rock, snow, and ice. AMG provides organized group climbing instruction at a variety of locations in ME and NH, destination trips around the globe, instructor training and certification for both indoor and outdoor climbing program, as well as a large selection of teen summer camps focusing on rock climbing and/or outdoor adventure activities.

Acadia National Park ~ Youth Conservation Corps
The Acadia Youth Conservation Corps (AYCC) is comprised of 16 high school students (many from Mount Desert Island) and four leaders who join the staff of Acadia National Park for the summer. They make visible improvements to Acadia's trails and carriage roads, reconstruct stone drainages and retaining walls, clear vistas, cut wood at campgrounds, and assist wherever else needed. Friends provides the salaries, work boots, AYCC T-shirts, and scholarships. The park provides program leadership and training.

ACCESS Health ~ Youth Advocacy Program
One of Maine's Healthy Maine Partnerships and a state wide effort to make Maine a healthier place to live and work.

Adventure Bound
Adventure Bound is Maine's only whitewater rafting facility devoted to youth and family programs. Specializing in youth groups, Adventure Bound provides exciting and challenging outdoor programs based out of an alcohol-free resort facility designed for kids.  Activities include whitewater rafting on the Kennebec and Dead Rivers, Rock Climbing, our Adventure Challenge Ropes Course, Teambuilding Treasure Hunt utilizing maps and GPS technology and Multi-Day Canoe Expeditions. Appalachian Mountain Club ~  Teen Wilderness Adventures & Volunteer Opportunities

BackCountry Excursions
BackCountry Excursions, located in Parsonsfield, Maine is entering its 20th year as the oldest running commercial mountain biking facility in all of North America.

Bath Cycle & Ski
Bath Cycle & Ski staff will have all kinds of mountain bikes on hand at their Dirt Jumping, Freeriding & Cross Country Mountain Biking workshop session along with biking tips and where to ride.

Baxter State Park
Baxter State Park was the lifelong project of one man, former Maine Governor Percival Baxter.  In his own words, he created the Park “for those who love nature and are willing to walk and make an effort to get close to nature”.  The Park contains the highest peak in Maine, Katahdin, along with 45 other mountain peaks and over 200 miles of hiking trails.  The guidelines set forth by Percival Baxter are designed to keep the Park in its natural wild state as a wildlife sanctuary first and for recreational purposes. Baxter State Park operates solely through user fees and interest from the Trust Fund set up by Governor Baxter. The Baxter exhibit has Park scenes, handouts about recreating in Baxter State Park and the natural & cultural history of Baxter, contact information available for trip planning, advice & support for Outing Clubs and other groups.

Belgrade Regional Conservation Alliance ~ Lands, Trails & YCC Program
We will display our conservation lands and trails open to the public, provide a calendar of our summer education and outreach programs, offer volunteer opportunities for trail work and explain our youth conservation corps and boat inspector summer employment positions.

Bryant Pond 4-H Camp and Learning Center
Summer Camp at Bryant Pond is a unique blend of traditional camp activities, with fun and challenging outdoor and conservation education. Also offers hands-on outdoor education for schools at their Lakeside Classroom as well as programs for adults at all skill levels.

Cairn Leadership School
This School is different.  At Cairn, we provide an experience unique from all others.  Through the tailor-made programs that utilize the resources of the outdoors, participants learn how to effectively communicate with others.  Cairn sees team building as the cornerstone for an organization and would like to see everyone who walks through the barn doors, walk out with a new, enhanced perspective.  The goal of the Cairn Leadership School is to make outdoor experiences open for all who want to be outside.

Cathance River Education Alliance
The mission of the Cathance River Education Alliance is to use the natural resources of the Cathance River Preserve to promote ecological awareness and nature-based learning among students, educators, and the public; to foster the wise use of the Preserve; and to prepare future stewards of the Cathance River.  The goal of the Alliance is to encourage and assist area schools, teachers, students, and administrators to develop environmental education curricula, workshops, and in-classroom activities.

East Grand Adventure Race
East Grand Outdoor Class & Adventure Race for Teens
Be sure to stop by our booth and pick up information about our 5th East Grand Adventure Race for high school students & adults on May 8th. Hosted by East Grand High School's Outdoor Education Class and sponsored in part by Ski Rack Sports of Bangor. The Race has over $900 in prizes! This 18+ mile race is not out of reach of those who are in reasonably good physical condition. Race includes a one-mile bushwhack (off trail hike with map & compass), ten miles of mountain biking, seven miles of mostly flat-water canoeing and a climbing wall challenge. Participants enter the race as pairs. Three divisions-High School boys, girls, and adults (can be men, women or mixed). T-shirts, trophies and lunch provided. ENTRY FEE is $20 per person. High Mountain Institute
The Rocky Mountain Semester (RMS) is a unique opportunity for juniors and some seniors in high school to spend a semester living, traveling, and studying in the mountains of central Colorado and the canyons of southeastern Utah. In essence, our school combines some of the best qualities of an academic program at a rigorous boarding school with the adventure of a summer backpacking expedition. A Coastal Kayak Instructor Trainer Educator for the American Canoe Association, Bob trains Instructor Trainers, Instructors and entry level kayakers. A Registered Maine Guide for 20 years, and a Wilderness First Responder, Bob has led wilderness canoe trips in the Allagash region of Maine, taught prep courses for becoming a Maine Guide and trained instructors from Maine to Maryland and Alaska. Bob has also participated in the British Canoe Union workshops including 5-star training.

Great news!  Teens To Trails is announcing the first-ever T3 Maine Adventure Race!  Join us Saturday May 15th for an orienteering race for high school students at Bradbury Mountain State Park. We created this event with high school Outing Clubs in mind!  Teams of 2 or 3 racers follow clues & use maps & compasses to find as many checkpoints as possible before time expires. The Adventure Race will use a "rogaining" format which is an outdoor treasure hunt of sorts.  During this session, Race Director Cory Snow will introduce participants to this new form of adventure racing.  Learn how to strategize to win!  Give it a try.
