Join Teens To Trails for the 4th Annual Spring Thing Weekend!

Friday-Sunday May 19th-21st
on the Kennebec River!

Join us at Adventure Bound to explore The Forks and the Caratunk area through a variety of fun skill building outdoor activities including hiking, biking, canoeing, trail work, and more on Saturday and then raft the Kennebec River all together on Sunday.

Dates/Times: All participants must be at Adventure Bound by 8:30am on Saturday May 19th or you will miss the buses! All clubs are welcome to arrive Friday night and camp with us or join us Saturday morning. Camping will also take place at Adventure Bound. We will aim to have clubs heading home no later than 4pm Sunday. Only want to join us for one day? Get in touch and we can work something out!

Cost: $35/person. Payment must be made by May 3rd.

Saturday Activities: Saturday's day activities are being led by a wonderful group of outdoor specialists who have volunteered their time to share their experience with Outing Clubs. Activities are still being decided on and logistics are being planned, but will include some of the following: biking, hiking, trail work, canoeing with Maine Path and Paddle Guides, outdoor living/survival skills workshops, and more! Evening activities will include an hour screening of the Maine Outdoor Film Festival (MOFF) and possibly an orienteering-focused scavenger hunt. 

Registration for Spring Thing 2017 is OPEN! The registration form for the weekend does not include the Saturday's activities, which will be assigned on a first come first serve and based on your group size beginning April 28th. To secure an activity for your group call Rebecca in the T3 office at 207-725-0800 (on or after this date and she can discuss these options with you. We encourage you to try something new! Gear: Outing Clubs are responsible for all of their club's group gear and food other than lunch on Sunday for rafting. If you are in need of tents or other gear, be in touch and we will help you track some down. Please see the Adventure Bound "what to bring" form for what you will need for rafting. Saturday's gear needs are activity dependent and we will let you know if there are any additional needs once you sign up.
